Setting up an exhibition at the Artizan Gallery, Torquay

Being selected for the RA and hanging the labels on the pictures is an exciting experience. Think of all the famous artists from the past who have had to attach labels like these to their work!

Exhibiting artists are invited to VARNISHING DAY - originally to apply varnish to one’s oil painting, but now a big party. I decided to varnish my toe nails to mark the event.

In 2014 my Allegory of Modern Marriage was hung at the RA Summer Exhibition and accumulated over 30 red dots - I had sold the framed edition and a lot of numbered prints.
